A Muslim Demonstration is scheduled to happen this Friday 9/28 near the American Embassy in Tokyo.

We are participating in a counter-protest, for FREE SPEECH!

Friday 28 September 2012.  Meet at 2:30 pm in afternoon.

Initial gathering location: Excelsior Caffe.  1-1-28 Toranomon Minato-ku Tokyo (TOTO bldg. 1st floor) @Toranomon Intersection. Outside Toranomon Station (Ginza Line) exit 8.

If you come after 3:00 pm, go directly to the JT building and look for us. We will be the ones having fun:-)

· This is a pro-free-speech event. We are counter-protesting the Muslim fundamentalist call to kill those who do or say anything insulting to their religion.

· Our protest is jovial and cheeky, though still to the point.

· We are planning to possibly sing some songs and be seen to be enjoying life as free citizens.

 Safety:

· Some Muslim protests have turned violent. We do not intend to get into direct interaction with the fundamentalists. Let them be angry. Please be cautious, and if things get heated, leave.

· You may want to bring a gauze mask, hat, sunglasses if you’d like to protect your anonymity. There may be press there.

· DO NOT bring any sort of weapon, or anything that could be seen as a weapon.

· No children please. We do not have security, although there will be police present.

· Do not yell at the protesters or provoke them.

· Remember, you must have your ID on you if you are a foreign resident.

· Please obey all the laws of Japan and cooperate with the police. This is a peaceful demo.

・これは、言論の自由を推進するための行動であり、

彼らの宗教に対する批判的言動をするものの殺害を呼びかける、イスラム教徒のデモに対するカウンターデモです。

・私たちの抗議は、要点を得つつも、陽気でおちゃめなものです。

・歌を歌ったりなんかして、自由な市民として人生をエンジョイしてる様をアピールする予定です。

安全について

・一部のイスラムのデモはは攻撃的になっています。

私たちは原理主義者達と直接対話するつもりはありません。

怒っていても放っておいてください。

くれぐれも気を付けてください。場が過熱してきたら、その場を離れてください。

・マスクやサングラスなど、顔を覆うものを持参することをお勧めします。

報道関係者が来る可能性かあります。

・”絶対に、凶器、または凶器ととられかねないものを持参しないでください”

・これはおちゃめなカウンターデモです。

彼らを怒らせるような言動は何も行いません。

警官は駆けつけるでしょうが、安全の保障はありません。

・イスラム教徒に対して討論したり、挑発したりはしません。

・法律を守り、警察の指示に従ってください。
